It is very probable that the parents of Perry A. Parker are Henry Parker and Nancy Black. Several other researchers have included this information on their web pages and in publicly available GEDCOM files. The 1850 census and 1860 census support this family grouping. Until additional sources are found to prove the parental link I have not included that generation in this list.

A grandson of Alfred Parker (and great-grandson of Perry A. Parker) provided the DNA sample P63 on the Parker Surname Study site at http://web.utk.edu/~corn/parkerdna/ and http://www.parkerdna.org/
