Sample Charts
(Charts may take several minutes to download on dial-up connections)
Many options are available when making charts such as:
- Style - boxes, fan charts, hourglass charts, etc.
- Orientation - left to right, top to bottom, etc.
- Colors of box outlines and use of fancy frames - frames can be included only on ancestors, different types of rames can be included for selected individuals such as Civil War veterans, etc.
- Fill color for boxes, if any
- Spacing between boxes
- Size of images
- Events (birth, marriage, death, military, etc.) to be included and whether to include blank spaces for unknown dates of places of events
Contact us to discuss options. Once a chart is created on the computer a copy of the file can be sent to a chart printing service to be printed on large format paper. A chart can also be printed on a home computer printer then taped together when it covers more than one page.
